GBOOMER is the website dedicated to championing and helping ‘people of a certain age’. We want you to get out there, be independent, and live your life to the full! We cover a wide range of things relevant to everyone over the age of 50: news, articles, products, and ways of being active (be it walking football, zumba, ‘silver surfing’ on the internet, or lunch clubs).
We recognise that many of you are members of the ‘Sandwich Generation’ with ageing parents, adult children and grandchildren competing for your time and attention. And there is lots of stuff for those of you who are at the Top End of the age range, aimed at enhancing your quality of life.
We want to develop our community and be as interactive as possible. We welcome contributions about ordinary or extraordinary events you have experienced, ideas for how we can support one another, or any issues you want to discuss. So if you want to get involved please let us know. Email the team
